1. SENIOR STAFF OF COMMUNICATION AND PROMOTION

General purpose:

Assisting the Director in planning and managing public communications activities to raise visibility, awareness and acceptance of CPOPC and the benefits of palm oil by promoting the profile and worldwide activities of the organization, and the positive palm oil image, via media, public events, and targeted groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver all public relations and communication materials, ensuring quality of content, production and delivery, including preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, press release, fact sheet, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs as well as the management of websites (development and content management).
  • Develop, manage and elaborate social media strategies and activities across communication channels; including to monitor and report on communications performance metrics on social media on regular basis.
  • Adapt input materials (study, research and findings, etc.) for communication material, including presentation;
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with targeted online, print, and broadcast journalists, editorial writers, bloggers, columnists, and other communication organization to promote impactful media coverage;
  • Collaborate with governments and partners to design and implement innovative ways to promote palm oil;
  • Participate in the drafting of quarterly and annual report, as well as meeting materials and the minutes of meetings (e.g., Senior Officials Meeting and Ministerial Meeting of CPOPC, and other meetings as required).
  • Participate in developing all major organization documents, including technical documents and letters.
  • Participate in all CPOPC activities as team member, and take part in public speaking activity especially as Master of Ceremony.  

Qualification:

  • University graduate. Advance degree in communication, journalism, or any related fields is an advantage;
  • At least 7 years of professional experience, in particular with corporate and/or international organization in the field of communication, campaign, copywriting, or research.
  • Relevant experience in assisting the implementation of communications strategy for public organization or public/social issues, and production of various communication products;
  • Proven skills in managing and operating social media channels, especially website. Having knowledge in social media marketing and analytics, as well as knowledge of website technicalities and platforms. 
  • Excellent skills in English writing is required.
  • Experience in report and journalism writing, including press releases, articles, newsletters and presentations.
  • Proven experiences in managing events and media relations;
  • Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and organized work practices.

2. SENIOR STAFF OF SUSTAINABILITY AND SMALLHOLDER DEVELOPMENT

General purpose:

Assisting the Director of Sustainability and Smallholder Development in planning and managing issues on sustainability and smallholder.  Both aspect, Sustainability and Smallholder program under CPOPC coordination is able to enhance positive image of palm oil, provide better ways to implement a sustainable platform and enhance smallholder capacity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop program on sustainability platform, such as sustainability of palm oil related to SDGs, developing palm oil sustainability under agriculture sustainability platform.
  2. Develop program on smallholder capacity and program in which smallholder can receive a better price of FFB.  
  3. Collaborate with governments and partners to elaborate sustainability aspect and facilitate program for smallholder;
  4. Participate in developing all major organization documents, including technical documents and letters related to sustainability and smallholder.
  5. Adapt input materials (study, research and findings, etc.) for sustainability standard and smallholder
  6. Participate in the drafting of quarterly and annual report, as well as meeting materials and the minutes of meetings (e.g., Senior Officials Meeting and Ministerial Meeting of CPOPC, and other meetings as required).
  7. Participate in all CPOPC activities as team member, and take part in public speaking activity especially as a sustainability specialist.  

Qualification:

  1. University degree or master degree. Advance knowledge and experience with sustainability, ISPO, MSPO, RSPO, and any related areas are an advantage;
  2. At least 7 years of professional experience, in particular with corporate and/or international organization in the field of sustainability;
  3. Experienced in assisting the implementation of sustainability standard;
  4. Advance knowledge on smallholder problems, land legality, and smallholder stakeholders.
  5. Experienced with smallholder programs related with government, NGOs, company, and others.
  6. Excellent skills in English writing is required
  7. Experience in report, articles, and presentations, including collecting data on sustainability matters.
  8. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and organized work practices.
